Amos E Wolfe was born in 1977 and is still not dead. He was a volunteer at the Northampton & Lamport Railway for over 20 years, and now volunteers at the Lea Bailey Light Railway. For some reason he describes himself here in the third person, maybe because "Amos E. Wolfe" is not his real name. He is mentioned briefly by his real name in a Wikipedia article somewhere. He is aka ForestGoldMiner on Reddit, so please do not suggest that user simply pinched something from Amos E Wolfe on Wikipedia — they are the same person.
He has too many userboxes, and stole the first line of the above introduction from Terry Pratchett who went to school with his Dad. This user created two of the images found in userboxes on this page, plus at least two others.
Other Wikipedians hereby express their thanks to Mr. Wolfe for his map of the Island of Sodor, which they utilized for a first grade school project in the United States.
