TiyaatarPro was founded in October 2016 as a creative collective for film production. It is headquartered in tha capital city – of puntland Garowe TiyaatarPro is a group of Senior journalists founded .privately operated, and publicly and privately supported an independent Media network designed to serve Somali society. The Purpose of Tiyaatar is to advocate for peace and development in Somalia while informing the public on current affairs in a balanced and non-stereotyped manner.
Since establishment, TiyaatarPro made extensive contribution in areas of social and economic development and media skills and technology.
