User:Amire80/Directionally challenged

This user proudly confuses right and left.

I created this little userbox, because there were userboxes for more famous conditions, such as autism, Asperger's, ADHD, dyslexia and anorexia and i felt that the voice of people that feel frustrated when they turn left after they have been told to turn right yet again should be heard, too. I didn't imagine how good it feels to know that there are other people like me until i found out about it for the first time.

So, if you

  • get anxious when people ask you for directions, even though you know the area perfectly
  • get dizzy when ballroom dancing instructors tell you to move your right foot one step to the front and your left two steps to the right
  • hear the expression "your other left!" very often
  • think that telling people to drive "up" or "down" makes a lot more sense than telling them to drive "left" or "right"
  • tell yourself "the hand with the watch... err... oh yeah, that one" several times a day

... You are not alone! Spread the word - put this userbox on your user page by adding {{User:Amire80/Directionally challenged}} to it. And drop me a line to share your experiences!

Have fun!
