Burning is a rock group of Madrid created in 1974 by Jose Casas Toledo(Pepe Risi,guitar),Juan Martínez Díaz(voice),Juan Antonio Cifuentes Laso(Johnny Cifuentes ,keyboard),Enrique Pérez(bajo)and Ernesto Estepa(Tito,battery);but the last ones left the group at the ends of the 70.
They started singing rock in english,they were together the urban rock current and other soloist groups like "Moris" and "Tequila"responsible for the normalization of the spanish in the second half of the 70.
They are considered the precursors of the spirit and sound of the "Movida Madrileña"
His style has remained true to his roots("rock and roll","rythm and blues" and the "blues")wich clear referents such as "Lou Reed","Johnny Thunders","The New York Dolls" and above all "The Rolling Stones".
Currently they maintain that style and continue to make records and concerts
