1,4-Dihydronaphthalene is a hydrocarbon with formula C10H10. It can be prepared via reducing naphthalene with sodium in ethanol. It's unstable, it converts to 1,2-dihydronaphthalene in a solution of sodium ethoxide in ethanol.[2]
