Hello there! My name is aficionado538. I mostly edit the pages of politics, elections, and opinion polls of Botswana, US and EU countries. In addition to editing the Wiki, I volunteer for Africa Elects (a subsidiary of Europe Elects) covering Botswana elections.

In my spare time, I enjoy cycling on the weekends. Ideologically, I find myself mainly aligning with social liberalism. I'm a huge fan of European and European Parliament elections and find them particularly fascinating! And above all, I'm an ardent advocate for proportional representation and I can't put into words how much I hate FPTP! It is a major reason why politics here in Botswana and elsewhere is unfair and broken.

I strive to make sure that the politics etc., of my country are well represented. I'm currently limited by time and don't have the opportunity to fully achieve my goals. But I try to do whatever I can for the time being.
