I'm male (b 1951) and live in England. So of fairly standard specification for a Wiki contributor. My interests tend to the historical.
I tend to leave comments on the discussion page for future editors, rather than jumping in to 'correct' articles unless I am fully conversant with the topic and have references to hand. My apologies if that seems unhelpful but I believe that in the long run that will lead to a better Wikipedia. I don't express opinions lightly, but accept that others may disagree, and if so hope they will explain. Constructive, reasoned, discussion leads to better articles.
