Hello everybody, I'm (CA)Giacobbe, but prefer simply Giacobbe. I am a Canadian citizen from the city of Hamilton, Ontario. I have been an editor on-and-off at Wikipedia for nearly a decade; my focus tends to be on editing music-related articles. Upon joining, I mainly edited articles related to pop music and later participated in WikiProject Katy Perry. I enjoy a variety of musical styles but generally stick to trap, reggaeton, EDM, and various types of indie music. Some of my favourite artists include Bad Bunny, the 1975, Gunna, Anuel AA, Ozuna, Lil Baby, and Phoebe Bridgers, among others. I am a graduate of McMaster University—where I attained my Bachelor of Commerce degree—and will be moving to Aberdeen, Scotland in late 2021 to attend Robert Gordon University and attain my MSc of International Business.

About me

I am a first-generation Canadian citizen hailing from Hamilton, Ontario, which is part of the larger Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). I was born to a Lebanese father, while my maternal grandmother is from Nice, France (of French of Napolese descent), and my maternal grandfather was born in Toledo, Spain. I took an Ancestry DNA test several years ago, finding out I also have small amounts of previously unknown Greek (from modern-day Turkey) and North African ancestry.
