Upper Valley Mall
Upper Valley Mall is a shopping mall located in Springfield, Ohio north-east of Dayton, Ohio. Built in 1971 by the Edward J. DeBartolo Corp. from Youngstown, the mall features five anchor stores and offers four sit down restaurants. The Upper Valley Mall is located on the city's west side just off of US-68. The mall is owned by Simon Property Group, an Indianapolis, Indiana based company. The Upper Valley Mall contains 744,000 sq ft (69,100 m2). of floorspace, with JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and MC Sports as anchor stores.
History
Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation built Upper Valley Mall in 1971. At the time, it featured JCPenney, Sears, and Rike Kumler Co. as its anchors.[1]
Restaurants and entertainment
Other than the anchor stores and the other shops located within the mall, there is also a Chakeres Theatres and the following restaurants: Charley's Grilled Subs, Mark Pi's, New York Pizza, Pretzel Time, Teriyaki House, and UnCommon Grounds.[2]
