      The Turība University (formerly called as School of Business Administration Turība) (Latvian: Biznesa augstskola "Turība") is a higher education institution and the largest business school in Latvia, Northern Europe with 5,800 students and 11,432 alumni in Study Year 2011/2012. University was established in 1993. It has 4 branches located in Liepāja, Cēsis, Talsi and Jēkabpils.[1]

      University consists of 4 faculties with main study directions – business administration, law, international tourism, public relations. In total running 21 study programmes.

      International action

      The study programme Management of tourism and hospitality companies has been granted with WTO TedQual certificate - accreditation of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). Turība has become the first higher education institution in the Baltic region and Scandinavian countries, which has received the accreditation by the UNWTO and the high evaluation by internationally recognised experts.[3] The School has been admitted as member in the AACSB International, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, which unites the leading higher educational institutions of business, in EURASHE - European Association of Institutions in Higher Education and E.L.F.A., European Law Faculties Association.
