The Weekly News[1] is a national newspaper published every Thursday[2] by the Dundee newspaper chain D. C. Thomson.[3] Billed as "the paper with the feelgood factor", it has been in production since 1855, and contains news and features on a broad range of subjects. The paper has recently undergone a redesign and its content appears in six colour-coded sections - that's real life, entertainment, lifestyle, prizes/puzzles, short stories and sport. It is also well regarded for its cartoon content. The paper has three offices - Dundee (head), Glasgow and Manchester, and its Editor is Donald Martin.
