The Story of Flibber-o-Loo is a VeggieTales story that appeared as the first story in Are You My Neighbor?. It is based on the Biblical parable of Jesus, "The Good Samaritan." It was written and directed by Phil Vischer who wrote the story as if he were Dr. Seuss. It was the first segment of Are You My Neighbor?.
The story
Larry the Cucumber lives in Flibber-o-Loo, where everybody wears a shoe on their head. Next to Flibber-o-loo is Jibberty Lot where Junior Asparagus lives. In Jibberty Lot, everyone wears a pot on their heads. Flibber-o-Loo and Jibberty Lot fight by launching pots and shoes at each other.
Larry goes out with his pet wind-up lobster where bandits (played by The Scallions) steal his milk money and put him in a hole where he is trapped. The Mayor of Flibber-o-loo (played by Archibald Asparagus) walks by with the doctor (played by Archibald's Wife). Despite Larry's pleas, they are both "too busy" to get Larry out of the hole and explain this through song.
Finally, Junior comes along, helps Larry out of the hole, sees that he gets to a doctor, and pays for his bill. After seeing his kind act, the Mayor decides that Flibber-o-Loo and Jibberty Lot should no longer fight. Now, instead of fighting, they are loving toward each other and throw flowers and candy.
