Trademark/fair use issues with the SPAM can image of User WikiProject Spam, see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Spam image. Any last objections or suggestions before a merge of these two userboxes? Femto 12:47, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Removed Image:SpamInACan.jpg and merged from Template:User WikiProject Spam 2. I simply averaged the background colors, very diplomatic. All parameters should work as before for both templates (I hope). Femto 15:52, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Text alignment edit

editprotected

On the row that reads:

| style="font-size:{{{info-size|{8}}}}pt; padding:4pt; line-height:1.25em; color:{{{info-color|{black}}}}; text-align:center;" | {This user is a member of WikiProject Spam.}

Change the text: text-align:center;
to instead read as: text-align:{center};

This will still default to have the text center aligned, but permit it to be left aligned if the user prefers by adding "t-al=left" when they use the template. I've created a test of this change at user:Barek/sandbox (perma link), and tested it at user talk:Barek/sandbox (perma link). --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 17:53, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

The protection was due to cascading protection on another page, which has now been removed. As a result, I was able to make the above change myself. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 17:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

User Category edit

Would anyone be good enough at the #if or #ifeq coding to be able to make it possible to remove the category tag if the user doesn't want it? I'm thinking default to having the tag, but not add the category if "nocat=true", or something along those lines. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:18, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
editprotected

(Note: I listed this as a second "editprotected" as it's an unrelated change - sorry if correct practice is to merge into a single tag)

Change the text: <includeonly></includeonly>
to instead read: <includeonly>{{#if:{}||}}</includeonly>

This will permit the user to optionally opt-out of being in the category; but still defaults to include the category. I've created a test of this change at user:Barek/sandbox (perma link), and tested it at user talk:Barek/sandbox (perma link). --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:56, 31 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
