What is the point? edit
Why should someone use its' picture instead of the actual § sign? --eugrus (talk) 14:39, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
- I have the same question. The template may be easier to analyse by semantic analysers of the source text, but sending an image instead of text seems a bad way to use bandwidth. Boud (talk) 15:08, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Discussion regarding image use edit
There is a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Templates#Images in templates regarding how to handle templates that were created to insert images of typographic characters. These characters are now available via Unicode. Please comment there if interested, Rjjiii (talk) 16:10, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
