Template-protected edit request on 6 January 2018 edit

Please replace

[https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/{{{1}}}/

with

{{#if:{{{section-name|}}}|Section {{{section-name}}} of }}[https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/{{{1}}}/{{#if:{{{section-number|}}}|#{{{section-number}}}}}

This will add the optional parameters {{{section-number}}} and {{{section-name}}}, permitting editors to link to sections of SEP entries.

Please ping me on approval, I will update the documentation correspondingly. Paradoctor (talk) 12:44, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Done @Paradoctor: please check it works correctly and update documentation — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:22, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
@MSGJ: It doesn't work as it should, some problem with the #. Since I noticed that this was not my brightest idea to begin with for other reasons, would you kindly revert to the previous version? My apologies for the detour. Paradoctor (talk) 00:00, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
  Reverted. Suggest you play around on Template:SEP/sandbox until you get the desired functionality. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:31, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Template-protected edit request on 15 October 2020 edit

Greetings and felicitations. Please add quotation marks around the entry's title to match Template:Cite SEP. — DocWatson42 (talk) 07:27, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

@DocWatson42: is the version in Template:SEP/sandbox what you are looking for? — xaosflux Talk 12:13, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • This doesn't need to be protected though – it's got only 64 transclusions, and the protection is here only because of another template that previously existed at this title. – Uanfala (talk) 12:16, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
