Template talk:Page views double

Look and feel, in comparison to Annual readership template edit

This template is based on {{Annual readership}}.

I'm trying to make some small alterations which set it off slightly from {{Annual readership}}, and I thought a good way to do that, would be to have side-by-side icons (double icons, equals double graphs). It started out with the same image icon, namely, File:Open data small color (vector).svg, so, I was playing with adding File:Open data small gray (vector).svg adjacent to the blue one, but it kept coming out on top, instead of side-by-side.

I played around with display:inline, float:left, div's, and various things, but gave up early and switched to File:Softies-icons-trends 256px.png instead. I still like the side-by-side icon idea, if that could be made to work.

This template currently has the same default title as its parent, which is "Daily pageviews of this article", with Daily pageviews linked to the pageviews tool at wmflabs. That's a good title, and I don't know that making random changes just to make them look different is a good idea, but open to suggestions. Mathglot (talk) 04:39, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
