Unicode symbol not visible edit

I use a recent version of Firefox but on a pretty old MS Windows. For me the Unicode symbol that comes before the "not done" just becomes a question mark, so it looks like this for me: "? Not done". Pretty silly, like someone wonders why he didn't do it. I recommend that people use {{Not done}} instead since that one should work in all web browsers.

Could '''Not done''' be changed to '''{{{1|Not done}}}'''? It seems that other templates in the {{Done}} family are customizable, but this one is not. –Fredddie 05:05, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please replace <big style="color:#c30; font-size:1.4em;">&#x2717;</big>

with <span style="color: #C30; font-size: 1.8em;">&#x2717;</span>
to make it HTML5 compliant. Thank you. — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 15:50, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Partly done: I changed the big tag to a span tag for HTML5 compliance, but I did not change the font size. It appears to render the same result regardless of the tag it is specified in, at least in Firefox and IE10. I note that the check mark in Template:Done-t appears larger now after a similar change was performed this morning. Let me know if I've got this wrong. That's fine. It's not consistent with all the other templates (which are now 1.8em), but not that important to me. Happy editing. :) — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 21:37, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
