Image edit

Looking closely at Image:Music Promo Copyright.png, it uses copyrighted material to illustrate the point but then claims to be GFDL self-created. I hate to be a stickler but this well-intentioned image is a horrible example to use for what is legally permissible as fair use. Schrei 06:34, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Low resolution is not always a requirement edit

Certain use cases waiver the low resolution requirement.

Since this template is automatically added when uploading media using the main upload form under the category "music video or promo screenshot", it may contradict the actual fair use rationale by default.

To mitigate this issue, users uploading non-low resolution screenshots of music videos through the main upload form can remove this template on the subsequent file description page.

It may be preferable to instead have the template reflect the fact that a low resolution is not always part of the fair use rationale.
