recent changes to template

Over the last few days, I applied the following changes to this template:

1. dividing it between Ratak and Ralik chains
2. sequence north-south within each chain, as in [1]
3. inhabited atolls/island in bold print
4. isolated islands (non-atolls) in italic print

this way, the template became much more informative--Ratzer 12:46, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

"Sunrise, Eastern" and "Sunset, Western"

What exactly do the "Sunrise, Eastern" and "Sunset, Western" parentheses mean?
