Exterior links edit

What is the purpose of having "Cities, towns and locations in other districts" in this template? If there is no objection, I will remove them. --Bejnar (talk) 23:55, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

The link to other districts helps in finding a location, particularly when an outsider is trying to locate a place and he is not sure about the district. Please don't remove them. Even if you personally don't find them to be useful, it does no harm. Cheers. - Chandan Guha (talk) 02:45, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Template name edit

It seems to me that a better template name would be "Mahabubnagar district", then all articles about Mahabubnagar district could be included, such as unique customs, scenic areas, etc. --Bejnar (talk) 23:55, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

In many states there are topics templates for the other topics. See: Bardhaman topics, Varanasi division topics, Darbhanga Division topics. I think that Andhra Pradesh should have district-wise topics templates. For certain subjects, there can additionally be a state template. Adding all the topics to the Cities & Towns template will make it unwieldly. I am willing to lend a helping hand but I may not be able to do justice to the subject. Others will have to improve them after I put it up. Cheers. - Chandan Guha (talk) 01:06, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
