Why should this template conform to what Big Finish considers canon? Doctor Who is a collection of Eighth Doctor audios produced by the BBC, who surely have more claim to Doctor Who canon than Big Finish does? (Not that I personally consider non-BBC television stories as canonical...) My point is this is a template for Eighth Doctor audio companions, not just those considered canonical by Big Finish. Therefore, Sam Jones ought to be included on this template for the sheer fact that she is the companion in some Eighth Doctor audio adventures.
