Acquisition by VW edit

It doesn't make any sense to me that a template about Ducati should include a link to every single VW brand. If there were a little more history behind this, and some sense of the relationship between, say, Bugatti and Ducati, or SEAT and Ducati, it might be logical. As it is, it looks like clutter, and links for sake of links.

I added Volkswagen Group to a bar across the bottom. Readers will click there if they want a tour of everything VW owns. The bottom of these VW Group pages looks hideous, by the way, if you're thinking about consistency. SEAT#External links has {{Volkswagen Group brands}} immediately followed by {{SEAT}} -- half of each template is redundant. What a mess. The first one makes sense -- it contains what it says it contains, "Volkswagen Group brands". But the second one is not called "Volkswagen Group brands", it's called "SEAT". Why would a template called "SEAT" need to repeat the whole list of VW Group brands? Why would you proceed to put both templates on every SEAT article? It looks like vomit, honestly, and I get the sense nobody put much thought into it. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 20:36, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Giugiaro? edit

He only designed one bike, the Ducati 860 GT, far from Ducati's flagship bike at the time. And after poor sales, and complaints -- even speed wobble caused by too long handblebars -- it was redesigned after only two model years. So yes, he was a Ducati designer, but such a minor one I'm not sure it makes sense on this navbox. When it says "Fabbro · Galluzzi · Giugiaro · Taglioni · Tamburini · Terblanche" it makes it read like Giugiaro is equal or comparable in significance to the others. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 04:33, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Subsections for designers of multiple models vs only one model? Would the latter ever have more than one entry? — Brianhe (talk) 05:08, 9 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
