I have followed the model of AFC Ajax during their 1988-89 season where the club went through 3 different interim managers. This is the case at Ajax Cape Town this season. Following the dispute of the shareholders this season, along with the dismissal of Maarten Stekelenburg, three separate interim managers have served as care taker of the club, starting with Wilfred Mugeyi, followed by Jan Pruijn, and lastly Jan Versleijen who will see the club through to the end of the season. All three have acted as interim care takers, and Ajax CT will be without a long term manager until the start of the 2013-14 season.
