Inclusion criteria edit
To restrict this template to a manageable size, only extant notable political parties active in Taiwan should be listed.
Notability for the "Nationally represented" section can be established by:
- having a member as president or vice-president
- having a member of the party as a legislator in the Legislative Yuan
Notability for the "Regionally represented" section can be established by:
- having a member of the party as mayor of a direct-controlled municipality or provincial city, or the magistrate of a county
- having a member of the party as a city or county councillor
- having a member of the party as the elected head of a county-controlled city or township
Notability for the "Minor parties" section can be established by:
- gaining more than 10,000 votes in any election in Taiwan in the last 5 years.
- qualifying for the "nationally represented" or "regionally represented" sections in the last 10 years.

This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.
