This template can be used to link to a species' record on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. It should appear in the External links section.

Usage

{{IUCNextlink|<id>|<scientific_name>}} where:

• id is the number after https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/ in the IUCN Red List URL for the species concerned, e.g. in https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/42664/21289073 it is: 42664
• scientific_name is the scientific name as used on the IUCN Red List page, e.g. Elephantulus rufescens which will automatically be italicised.

Example

So {{IUCNextlink|42664|Elephantulus rufescens}} produces:

Elephantulus rufescens at the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
