Xylaria longipes edit

  • Comment: Maybe Hallowe'en friendly? Josh Milburn (talk) 01:10, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

  • Article is newly created, meets minimum size requirements and is fully cited. Hook fact is to an offline source, which is accepted in good faith. Spot checks on the online sources are clear. Good to go. Miyagawa (talk) 17:54, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
  • Oh, and I'd keep it for Halloween if it was up to me. If you're looking for further Halloween possibilities then there is a lot in the news today about "Zombie knives" which doesn't yet have an article. Miyagawa (talk) 17:55, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
  • Definitely happy to hold for Hallowe'en; is there some procedure? I'll look into Zombie knives; thanks for the hint! Josh Milburn (talk) 21:38, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
  • I have regretfully moved it back. Special occasion section, as it says, is for hooks up to six weeks out, and Halloween's closer to eleven weeks than six. Sometimes very special occasions, like the Olympics, get more lead time, but Halloween isn't one of them. Sorry. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:25, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
