Willi Brokmeier

  • Reviewed: to come

Created by LouisAlain (talk) and Gerda Arendt (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 20:52, 7 September 2021 (UTC).

  • ... New enough, long enough and most of hook in article and followed by inline citation to a non-English source. No copyvio issues. Needs a QPQ and clarification of the "first" bit. AGF with other facts. Thank you @Gerda Arendt:.... you put much effort into opera and theatre. Whispyhistory (talk) 06:29, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
Thank you! Please give some time for a better hook. I noticed that the "first" wasn't supported, and Vienna was not key for his career. I had to do an express nom for Tag des offenen Denkmals yesterday, and am just in my morning round. There's hope for later today. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:37, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
No pressure @Gerda Arendt:...take your time and just ping me when you would like me to look again. Whispyhistory (talk) 17:07, 11 September 2021 (UTC)
Since Gerda Arendt nominates articles for DYK so often, I will help out with a QPQ by donating Template:Did you know nominations/Benjamin William Page. If that isn't acceptable to Gerda, I can retract it. SL93 (talk) 09:43, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
Thank you, very nice! I'm just returning from a day out, will check watchlist next. I'll think about a better hook, later today or tomorrow. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:22, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that Willi Brokmeier, who participated in the world premiere of Die Soldaten at the Cologne Opera, appeared as Beethoven's Jaquino in Tokyo, Turin and Berlin?
Whispyhistory, how is that? (same source) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:39, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
Thank you...nearly there. Where is Tokyo in the article please? Whispyhistory (talk) 18:48, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
Oops. Japan - Italy - Germany sounded overly general.
ALT1a: ... that Willi Brokmeier, who participated in the world premiere of Die Soldaten at the Cologne Opera, appeared as Beethoven's Jaquino on a tour to Japan? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:42, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
... Thank you. Hook in article and followed by citation to a source in German. Thank you to SL93 for QPQ. Whispyhistory (talk) 20:42, 14 September 2021 (UTC)
