Russian sources: "In February this year ... Lieutenant General Viktor Astapov moved from the position of chief of staff of the Western Military District to the post of deputy commander of the Navy for land and coastal troops." and "In 1985 he graduated from the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School, then served in military positions from the platoon commander of a paratrooper regiment to the commander of an airborne division." Hi Spokoyni, review follows: article created 21 January; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout; sources are all Russian but appear to be Ministry of Defence or sites or newspapers so look reliable; all sources are foreign language so I assume there is no copyright violation; hook facts are mentioned in the article and happy to AGF the quotes provided represent the sources; image is freely and appropriately licensed; a QPQ has been carried out.
