  • I was about to nominate this myself when I realised one of the creators had already done so. Funnily enough I had similar hooks lined up which I've added as ALT2 and ALT3. --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 12:47, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough and large enough. I would go with ALT2 as the most "hooky"; it also checked out as far as verifiability. While checking the rest of the article, I spotted a couple of early issues under "Background". "... the third placed team will either qualify directly if the highest placed third placed team or enter the playoffs" is unclear, it needs to explain that there are other third place teams from the other groups and the highest of those qualifies, while the others play for the remaining four spots. Also, the article states as a fact that German is "looking to maintain its record of qualifying for every European Championship since its inception", while the source is an opinion from a person stating "I don't think they have failed to qualify for a major tournament". After this is resolved, the remainder of the article still needs review against sources.—Bagumba (talk) 20:31, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Continuing my review, rest of the article is sourced, and there are no concerns with neutrality, paraphrasing or copyrights. QPQ done.—Bagumba (talk) 08:08, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
