The Owl's Legacy

  • ... that the television series The Owl's Legacy was modeled after the ancient Greek symposium? Source: "Marker’s model is the symposium, which, in ancient Greece, was a banquet in which wine was served to ease the flow of ideas." (The New York Times)
    • ALT1: ... that the television series The Owl's Legacy was stopped for several years because of a dispute over the relationship between modern and ancient Greece? Source: "Pourquoi ce film, électrisant d'intelligence, a-t-il mis autant de temps à nous parvenir ? Parce que George Steiner avait par une autre de ses saillies heurté la sensibilité de la fondation Onassis, qui avait financé le film. Overall: I feel French cinema and television is one of the topics poorly covered on the English Wikipedia so thanks for the article. I verified both hooks; I personally think Alt1 is perhaps a little more intriguing to average readers. However I suggest rewording "stopped for several years" to "blocked from distribution for years" -- as the latter is more precise. BorgQueen (talk) 12:09, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
