  • With 1236 characters the article is currently too short. The one-sentence sections do not look good, and the article is still very close to the original source. I see a serious attempt to avoid paraphrasing, but where it has been done, the meaning of the text has been changed such that it is no longer supported by the sources (e.g., Indiana is in the Midwest, nowhere does the source say he has made large metal sculptures ever since). I think this nomination can be saved, but it still needs some work: a rewrite, a restructuring, and expansion. The hook is just brilliant. --Pgallert (talk) 19:05, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Author/nominator hasn't returned in 12 days, no changes to the article in that time either, so clearly not interested in addressing the issues raised. BencherliteTalk 18:11, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
