  • @Evrik: Having such article is good idea. IMHO article has further scope to include more definitions. But that need not stop DYK
For the hook I would be more okay with definition in lead's first sentence "A religious community is a community (group of people) who practice the same religion..."
I feel bit concerned definition in present hook in Wikipedia voice, prima facie I doubt it is a sufficient definition. "a religious communities i.e. group of people of the same religion necessarily live together for religious purposes. In case of migrants it can be just coincidence or cultural purpose than necessarily religious one. For example Sunni and Shia migrants in UK can live together but might be attending different mosques and rituals. In spite of sectarian differences in religious purposes they might be staying together as religious community.
Also can you help me with a search term or quote, which will show present hook related sentence in the article and the source.

  • @Bookku: I agree that this article has room for expansion ... but I tried to limit myself to what I could already find on wikipedia and not do too much original research. My goal was to rescue the deleted article, which came back as a redirect, and then a disambiguation page.
I am open to new hooks. Your example of Sunni and Shia migrants in UK currently falls outside the scope of what I wrote and may require a new section. However, what you describe may be a "ghetto." I will look to better source the hook. --evrik (talk) 14:03, 22 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi! umm, question- Isn't any community that's not a local community 'a group of people without a set geographic location'? e.g. the wikipedia community, a fan base's community... A community is a social unit (a group of living things) with commonality such as place, norms, religion, values, customs, or identity. Communities may share a sense of place situated in a given geographical area (e.g. a country, village, town, or neighbourhood) or in virtual space through communication platforms. plus, the two extra links would get removed in prep as MOS:OVERLINK. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/they) 08:24, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
