Meryl Streep on screen and stage edit

Meryl Streep in the 1970s

  • ... that Meryl Streep (pictured in the 1970s) has received 19 Academy Award nominations, more than any actor or actress in history?

Expansion of this list began on May 4 and it now has 3107 characters. It's looking really good. However, while the hook is interesting, neither source mentions that she has received more Oscar nominations than any actor in history (the citations use the terms "actress" or "artiste", both of which indicate a woman). Could you find an additional source that supports the hook's claim? Thanks! Ruby 2010/2013 01:50, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks Ruby2010. I have used another ref which uses a gender-neutral "actor". --Krimuk|90 (talk) 02:02, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
Newly added source backs up this claim. Looks good! Ruby 2010/2013 02:11, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
