  • Overall the article looks really good and the hook is interesting. However, the article could really use some copyediting and there are some unsourced portions. Also, travelchinaguide.com does not look like a reliable source to me. Maybe those issues could be taken care of before the article runs.--Carabinieri (talk) 17:17, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Great. There are several "citation needed", some of which I added. And there's the question of whether travelchinaguide.com is reliable. Once these things have been taken care, I think this will be good to go.--Carabinieri (talk) 12:07, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
  • I added some refs to address the citation neededs. I also added a picture to the nom. The hook seems a bit bland, so I proposed one below. Axem Titanium (talk) 18:54, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
ALT1: ... that the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor tried to recreate a garden with trees made of jade, a ceiling studded with lapis lazuli to make a starry sky, and a river of mercury?
  • The entire "In popular culture" section is unreferenced, which is not allowed under DYK rules. Also, an independent reviewer must be found for the ALT1 hook if it is to be used. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:33, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
  • I have added some independent cites, but for this the reference is actually the films and game mentioned. I like ALT1 better. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:23, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
  • I'm still not convinced by travelchinaguide.com. giant-salamander.com doesn't seem to be working right now. I prefer the original hook. Rivers of mercury don't seem bland to me. --Carabinieri (talk) 20:41, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
  • Issues still unaddressed. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 03:31, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
