Marching fire edit

Australian military training: firing an Owen gun while advancing.

  • Length of article and date of creation are fine. The image is not included in the article which, I think, makes it ineligible for use in DYK. I think the hook, which is unreferenced, is a bit vague, referring to the whole article rather than a specific fact. Maybe:
  • ALT1 ... that General George S. Patton praised the tactic of marching fire during World War II?

Lieutenant General George S. Patton in 1943

Ah! I see that you are right about the image I offered, that it must be in the article. Here's one of Patton which would go well with your ALT hook which is fine by me. Below is a version of your ALT adjusted for the presence of an image. Binksternet (talk) 17:03, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
  • That's fine. Ready to go now with the latest hook and image which I have renamed ALT2. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:42, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
