  • Easy pass. Hook (original, not alts) is engaging and length good. Citation is RS and verifiable, article length fine and new (at time of nomination). QPQ performed. Personally I'm a bit wary about sourcing such a huge claim to a press release issued by the game's own developer/publisher rather than an independent source. I would also clarify that if it was true at the time, it has definitely been surpassed since then; without looking very hard for examples, I see that Avengers: Endgame had a $1.2 billion opening weekend this year. 97198 (talk) 02:22, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
I understand your wariness, but it's difficult to deny the validity of the claim. I'm not sure that the hook would need alteration, though; the fact still remains that it had the largest opening weekend (surpassed only by Avengers: Endgame earlier this year). Adding "at the time" to the end of the hook would work if you're still concerned, though. – Rhain ☔ 02:29, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Restoring MIDI's tick. It appears they only checked the original hook in their review, so let me note that ALT1 is cited. I've expressed my reservations about the sourcing for ALT2 but the promoter can decide which hook to promote. 97198 (talk) 08:04, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
