K-Mil edit

  • ... that despite starting her career in 2003, K-Mil has yet to release a studio album?

Created/expanded by DivaKnockouts (talk). Self nominated at 02:41, 18 August 2013 (UTC).

  • . Length checks out (although only because most of the information is repeated in the body and lead of this very short article). The hook is not really supported by the reference which does not state explicitly that she has not produced a studio album, one has to infer that from the fact that there isn't a studio album on the list. I think a hook that is supported by an actual prose reference would be better. AGF on off line source (liner notes).User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 20:14, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Is it required that it been in prose? If there is no studio album on Allmusic, then she has not released a studio album. Are sources that show the peak position of a song on a chart (but contain no prose) unacceptable? I didn't think so. — DivaKnockouts 13:24, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
I think for the hook it is required yes. Inferring the fact is too close to OR. But you can make a different hook that is better supported by a source.User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 16:42, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
That is better, although the source is still just a list of nominees and not actual prose coverage of the nomination which would be a lot better. How is it possible that this artist is clearly a notable musician yet no-one interviews her or writes actual articles about her?User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 01:45, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Hook, newness and length checks out. Although I would ask the nominator to try to avoid padding the article by repeating the same information in the lead and body of such short articles, and to base articles primarily on prose sources which are much better at showing notability and providing content for an article.User:Maunus ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 01:45, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
