Joseph Kupelwieser

Created by LouisAlain (talk), WQUlrich (talk), and Gerda Arendt (talk). Nominated by Gerda Arendt (talk) at 14:55, 4 October 2019 (UTC).

  • New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced. No close paraphrasing seen in English-language source. The ALT1 hook fact is better, but the last part doesn't appear in the article. QPQ done. Image is freely licensed. Yoninah (talk) 23:05, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for looking closer than I did. If only things could magically appear in an article just because I read them. More precisely:
ALT2: ... that Joseph Kupelwieser wrote the libretto for Schubert's opera Fierrabras, and the composer blamed his libretto as the reason why the opera was regarded as unsuable to be performed then?
I also added some operas for which he translated the librettos, - never heard of any of them, so a really good thing to learn! Amazing, the articles on operas we have! Welcome back after the holy days, and thank you! Thank you for placing Clara Schumann's image in the DYK prep for her little composition article, - couldn't help though to blame myself for not going more for a pic for the granda article on the grand vespers. Anyway, the composer's article is travelling nicely towards GA, - I hope it will be GA by then. Could you look at it, for more feedback? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:35, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
  • Thank you for adding to the article. I still like ALT01; more succinct. ALT01 hook ref verified and cited inline. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 21:54, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
  • @Yoninah: I was about to promote ALT0, but it is crossed out. SL93 (talk) 01:08, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
tsp: no, it doesn't even exist. I think ALT1 is meant. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:06, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
Yes, I meant ALT1 is good to go. Yoninah (talk) 17:25, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
