Jewish Rock Radio edit

  • Comment: Not a self-nom, but I'm listing one of my own reviews as a QPQ

  • Article is new enough and long enough. However, I'm unable to check for close paraphrasing because the URLs in footnotes 3 and 6 are dead or inaccessible. QPQ done (but not necessary). The hook isn't so catchy, and it's hard to tell that the article is about Jewish Rock Radio. Yoninah (talk) 11:37, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
I see you have notified the article creator in addition to me. Except that the hook "isn't so catchy", I think the rest has to be answered by the article creator. — Maile (talk) 11:59, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
The deadlinks have now been replaced in the article with live ones. Jeremy112233 (talk) 15:25, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
Yoninah, re your comment that it's hard to tell the article is about Jewish Rock Radio, I read the article to mean that's the actual name of the internet radio station - Jewish Rock Radio. Can you please clarify what you meant?— Maile (talk) 17:35, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
  • I meant that the way the hook is worded, it sounds like "the station" that Recht founded is something different from "Jewish Rock Radio Rockfest National Music Festival. Here's another suggestion:
  • ALT1: ... that musician Rick Recht was inspired to create Jewish Rock Radio after seeing how Christian rock radio stations operated? -- this is from the source; it needs to be added to the page if you want to use it for DYK. Yoninah (talk) 21:23, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
  • It was worded slightly different in the article, so I tweaked the article to conform to what you wrote. I like your hook much better than mine. Let's go with ALT1. — Maile (talk) 22:11, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks. Could another reviewer sign off on this, please? Yoninah (talk) 22:15, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
  • ALT1 looks good to go, both hooky, compliant, and sourced in the article; everything else still checks out, as noted above.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 00:51, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
