Honebuto no hōshin

Created by Kazwidth (talk), Margin1522 (talk), Fuebaey (talk). Nominated by Fuebaey (talk) at 18:05, 29 December 2014 (UTC).

  • Hook is cited, article is long enough, hook is short enough, AGF on the translations, appears to be adequately cited to reliable sources without plagiarism, no images to be checked, interesting, neutral, stable. Montanabw(talk) 01:33, 23 January 2015 (UTC) BUT
  • Article was actually started on December 21 and nominated for DYK on December 29, so it was eight days old at the time of the nom. However, there was an AfD filed in the interim, adn so I don't know if we "toll" the 5-day period for this. The version nominated actually had MORE characters than the current version, so we can't use a 5x expansion to get aroudn the recent rule. Can someone clarify? Someone let me know if the creation date issue is a problem. Montanabw(talk) 01:32, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the review. It took me a while to dig this up, but the 5 day rule was extended to 7 days six months ago. Granted it is still 12 hours late because I chose to replace the Japanese references and copyedit the prose before nominating it here at DYK. I can understand if you want to fail it because of that, but I'd appreciate it if it was overlooked in favour of a first time article creator. Fuebaey (talk) 01:55, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
I will pass this article per WP:IAR given the extenuating circumstances. If someone higher up the food chain reverts me on this, it's their call. Seems reasonable to me. Montanabw(talk) 05:04, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
