The article is well-written, well-referenced, and its 5x expansion is approved by the DYK check tool. The main hook 'fact' is not quite supported by the cited source which says that Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy must sign the bill by October 1, 2013, for it to be made law. I do not see a news item reporting his signature. I agree with CaseyPenk that 'folks' is too folksy. The ALT1 hook is too general, too broad—it cannot be true for a global audience, or even for every US state. I found no copyright violations, no instances of too-close paraphrasing. QPQ was satisfied by Template:Did you know nominations/The Private Affairs of Bel Ami. Some work on the first or second hook is required before this nomination is ready. - OK, cool, cool, thanks for the review. One finds the phrase "homeless people" grating after a little while, but if "folks" is not appropriate for DYK then that's the way it goes. Let's focus on Rhode Island, where the law has already passed. How about:
- ALT2 ... that homeless people in Rhode Island have a legal right to equal treatment in public spaces?
