Gertrude Kelly edit

  • ... that Irish immigrant Gertrude Kelly organised the first purely political strike in America, briefly uniting black and Irish dockworkers?
    • ALT1:... that Irish immigrant, anarchist, strike organiser, and New York surgeon Gertrude Kelly is commemorated by a children's park in Chelsea?

  • New enough, long enough, well referenced, neutrally written, no close paraphrasing seen. The first hook, however, is not entirely accurate, as she was only one of the organizers; and it contains a quote lifted from The New York Sun, and abbreviates it at that, leaving out the part about workingmen. I suggest going with ALT1, which is verified and cited inline. Her list of accomplishments is certainly interesting. No QPQ needed for nominator with less than 5 DYK credits. ALT1 good to go.
