• The hook fact does not appear explicitly in the article (you are missing the ten world premieres piece, and the part that does appear is not cited). It seems to me that references 3-7 are not reliable sources. Intelligentsium 07:27, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

I've created a discrete list of the 10 premieres. They're all mentioned in the primary source, Grove.

Refs 3 and 5 are Tchaikovsky Research Net, which I would have thought was very highly regarded. I've used it extensively in my article research and writing, as have other editors.

Ref 4 is the Grande Musica site - can you explain the problem there?

Ref 6 is IMSLP, and I don't know what issue you might have with that.

Hi Jack. Refs 5 and 6 are OK as primary sources hosted on their respective sites; that was a misread on my part. My problem with source 3 and my original problem with source 6, was that they seem to be projects editable by anyone, though not quite as open as wikis, and have unclear scholarly oversight. I have not been able to find author information for the Grande Musica site, nor have I been able to find how the articles are written - it may be reliable, I defer to you. At the bottom of the Bach cantatas biography, it says: Source: Baker’s Biographical Dictionary of 20th Century Classical Musicians (1997); Wikipedia Website (August 2010) [e.m.]

Contributed by Aryeh Oron (October 2010). Mr Oron also states elsewhere on his site that he is a "Bach and Jazz Music Fan" but does not provide scholarly credentials. Intelligentsium 16:10, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
