Rick Parfitt playing with Status Quo

- Comment: A "shoot the moon" DYK this one in tribute to Rick Parfitt, that has little of chance of getting listed in the timeframe given, but if you don't ask you don't get. Article is currently at AfD (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Forty Five Hundred Times) and is not obviously going to close as "keep" right now, but most !votes were lodged before the expansion. The hook would be ideal to run on 24 December, the first anniversary of Parfitt's death - if that's not posssible (and it probably isn't), maybe save it for 12 October 2018 which would have been Parfitt's 70th birthday.

Interesting music and history, on good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and a good illustration. - Article: I'd like a bit more lead, about what makes it special. (Not needed for an approval, but think about it.) - Formality: please copy the ref for the hook to the very sentence. - Hook: can we polish? Sorry, not every reader will have heard the name, so can we please mention that he was among the authors and performers? Somehow? - I added a bit more to the lead, the Music Radar source is used for the sentence given in the article (as per the hook), and Status Quo are a national treasure in the UK; explaining who they are would seem redundant. - I know the feeling when you mention someone who you think everybody knows, and then they don't. The hook tells someone who doesn't know background only that Parfitt played, not that he was one of the writers, and that it was a team work. We have a broad international readership who may never have heard of Status Quo. I didn't mean to explain the group, just him writing. - Aesthetics: I am no friend of "Rick Parfitt's (pictured) favourite", very generally so, - I mean this pictured interrupting the possessive and what it "possesses". I could try and reword for you, but then we need a new reviewer. Idea: "... that Rick Parfitt (pictured) wrote "Forty Five Hundred Times" with Francis Rossi and called it his favourite guitar moment with Status Quo?
