  • Long enough. Sources verified against offline books. Hook okay, but would have expected one about his unusual court martial like: "... that when All-American basketball player Elliott Loughlin was court martialed in 1945, the court received a more serious penalty than he did?"
  • We had debated putting something about his court-martial in there, but I thought it would be too derogatory for a DYK hook. If you think it's ok, however, I would prefer the hook you mentioned. Jrcla2 (talk) 20:44, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
