Elizabeth Price (gymnast) edit

ALT1 ... that Olympic alternate Elizabeth Price attends an online school so she can concentrate on artistic gymnastics?

  • Article is neutral enough. QPQ done. Fully supported by inline sources. Neutral enough. Hook is properly formatted. No plagiarism concerns.[1][2] ALT1 hooked fact appears in article and is supported by sources. --LauraHale (talk) 12:00, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Hook not fully supported. --LauraHale (talk) 12:00, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Good to go on ALT1.--LauraHale (talk) 12:00, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Note: striking original hook as not fully supported. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:41, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
  • I think ALT1 is misleading: Price is not competing in the Olympics, so far as we know, as she's an alternate. As it stands, the hook strongly implies that she's an Olympics competitor. Now that I've read the sources, I'm not entirely sure what was wrong with the original hook; the PennLive source number 24 states clearly that Price came in fourth at the trials, and that she was named an alternate instead of to the squad. The source makes it clear that only the first-place qualifier is guaranteed a spot, something not mentioned in the article. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:28, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
I've rephrased ALT1 now. It explicitly says she's an alternate. I've also added the bit on "only the first place winner" getting a berth spot on the team to the article, thus I removed the strike from the first hook. Either is good to go. IShadowed (talk) 20:31, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Still approved for ALT1. --LauraHale (talk) 00:05, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

  • Adding approval for original hook: inline sourced, proper length, accurate. BlueMoonset (talk) 00:23, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
