  • Interesting new article. Posted by due date. Hook is catchy, cited and verified. No copy vio noted. Text is neutral. Img is free. QPQ done. GTG.Nvvchar. 12:06, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
  • This hook is hardly surprising, so I didn't find it all that interesting. Proposing ALT1. Jolly Ω Janner 04:18, 15 February 2016 (UTC)
  • ALT1 ... that the village of Dodge Cove (pictured) in British Columbia has no cars, paved roads or shops?
  • Although everything else checks out and ALT1 is a great hook, I do find two instances of close paraphrasing. This pertains to the lead sentence, and the sentence about the "Tsimshian village named Kanagatsiyot". These need to be corrected before this article can be approved.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 22:39, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
  • @Amberrock:, are you referring to baysider.com? I did a little digging on the matter and I'm confident that they have been shamelessly copying Wikipedia without attribution. Here is our article in 2010, which is the same text used by baysider.com. However, their web page in 2011 contained nothing of Dodge Cove. Dodge Cove was listed on the website between 18 April 2012 and 17 March 2013. Our revision was unchanged during that timeframe. I you agree with me, I will contact the website and present them this evidence in the event they disagree. Jolly Ω Janner 23:10, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
  • for ALT1. Upon closer inspection, it appears Jolly Janner is right. This article doesn't copyvio Baysider, but the other way around. Therefore, there aren't any obstacles left for this nomination to overcome. It's therefore time to approve this.—♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 00:32, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
  • @Jolly Janner and Amberrock: I actually prefer the initial hook a great deal in this instance, because it covers the topic of a large facility being built to process and carry fossil fuels within a very small community in Canada, which is more significant, as it would change the entire makeup of the community. Conversely, the ALT could be characterized as uninteresting (no offense intended). A rural town that's mostly off the grid with no roads, stores, etc. Yawn... However, I digress... • I can confirm that the original hook is (now) factually accurate and suitable length. It appeared in the source as 96%, not 99%, so I have changed it. I will leave a closing admin to decide which hook to promote. PS, the people at baysider.com replied to me and have since rewritten their content on Dodge Cove.
