  • Hook could be improved. Saying "this track & field athlete competed in these track & field competitions" is not particularly interesting. If you're trying to say that's what interesting is she competed in the olympics 6 years after she first started competing (which I think it not uncommon for some events), the hook could be written to stress that better. rʨanaɢ (talk) 20:50, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
    • I am trying to get across that she started competing professionally as a teenager which led her to the 2008 Olympics. I am pretty sure that most Olympic athletes didn't start competing as a teenager. SL93 (talk) 20:54, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
