Cortinarius metallicus edit

Cortinarius metallicus, Victoria
Cortinarius metallicus, Victoria
  • ... that Cortinarius metallicus (pictured) got its name as its discoverers thought it had a metallic colour? Source
    • ALT1:... that ...? Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)

5x expanded by Casliber (talk). Self-nominated at 22:12, 12 January 2018 (UTC).

  • Article was created by Casliber in May 2016 as stub with Infobox. Prose portion of article has been expanded by at least five-fold on 12 January 2018. The article is now just long enough for DYK and is written in a neutral policy-compliant style. I could not find any copyvios or close paraphrasing. The main reference for this article is a journal article which appears to only be available by subscription. Also, although this source journal article is 22 pages in length and the description of the mushrooms in the main text appears sourced to this, there are no page numbers included from the source article. The hook supplied is short and interesting and I agree with the comment about difficulty in suppling an word for metallic. Drchriswilliams (talk) 10:27, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
