@2Joules: This is a nice article on an important historic building. The article is new enough and long enough. The image is appropriately licensed, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. The hook facts need a citation at the end of the sentence. This is a requirement for DYK, and another requirement is that every paragraph has to have at least one reference. This applies to both the "History" section and the section "Locations open to tourist visit". When you have added these citations, I will be able to finish this review. - @Cwmhiraeth: I have inserted the citation for the hook. It is citation number 13. (Almela, Luis Salas (2013-10-04). The Conspiracy of the Ninth Duke of Medina Sidonia (1641): An Aristocrat in the Crisis of the Spanish Empire. BRILL. ISBN 9789004255753.). The section "Locations open to tourist visit" is sourced to multiple sources, but instead of mentioning them agains and again after each location, I have lumped them together at the end. I think it makes the text look better. I can change this if it is necessary, but I think that placing them at the end is better.
I'm sorry I missed this. I have moved the references in the "Locations open to tourist visit" section to the beginning of the section and I should think that will meet requirements. This nomination is now good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:44, 14 May 2018 (UTC)
- Hello @2Joules:, I came by to promote this, but some statements are unsourced or lack a footnote. For example, "It has been declared a Spanish National Monument and is under protection". The footnotes at the "Locations open to tourist visit" section should probably be moved to the individual sections about each room. - Hi, I came by to promote this, but notice that under "Locations open to tourist visit" you have 5 citations in a row and then none under each of the sections. Could you add the relevant cites to the first paragraph in each of the four sections? I assume that not all 5 apply to each section, so it shouldn't look bad to repeat a few each time. DYK generally frowns on paragraphs without citations (see Rule D2), and this is a lot of text to go uncited. If all 5 citations really do apply to each section, then just use 2 or 3. Also, I think the image is too dark at thumbnail size, and was not planning to use it. But I see you have amazingly clear color and b/w images in the article. Perhaps you could suggest one or two different images that we could choose from? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 00:04, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
- @2Joules: thank you for fixing up those citations. It looks great now. Per our discussion on my talk page, here are better images for the lead slot. All the images are striking, the b/w one even more so. All are freely licensed. I deleted the original image. Restoring tick per Cwmhiraeth's review. Yoninah (talk) 22:40, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
